So, a couple of weeks back I told you guys that I really wanted to do something with my hair, but I wasn’t exactly sure what. I just knew that I really needed to freshen it up a bit. Or a lot, to be quite honest. Last week I finally took the plunge and made an appointment with my favourite hairdresser, who always knows exactly how to make my hair look pretty again without changing it completely. This time around, I decided to go for some layers and high lights to spice up my ‘do.
I’m so pleased with the result. It’s exactly what I was going for, but better. Now I just need to learn how to style it as pretty as the hairdresser does. If you ever to happen to be in Groningen and you feel like you could use some hair magic, be sure to stop by Trenz& Tasty. For this, I have decided I’m going to take the plunge and buy a Dyson hair wrap. Yes, they’re mega expensive, but I recently had the pleasure of trying one belonging to a friend, and it was magic. It’s an amazing product, drying and curling at the same time, and so easy to use. Ok, drooling time over, but I LOVE it!
In other news, when I was doing some online shopping for the home, I somehow landed on Zara’s new-in page (still figuring out what happened there) and before I knew it, I clicked home these babes. It was pretty much an “Oh no! I bought champagne instead of milk again” kind of situation. Or in this case, shoes and some new Cutler and Gross Glasses instead of a cabinet.
Although impulsive purchases like this are usually not my best, these heels turn out to be the perfect addition to my modest footwear collection. They’re actually quite comfortable because of the mid-heel height, and the fit is great, too. I guess it was just meant to be!
